Preserve the 90 Acres

About Us

Cornwallville Residents for Rural Preservation (CRRP) is a community‐ led organization whose mission is to show the negative impact that Bosque, a proposed subdivision, will have on our community life, natural habitat, environment, road safety, homeowner's privacy, tranquility due to a current low degree of noise/light pollution as well as on the historic character of the hamlet. The Bosque development proposal, submitted in November 2020, intends to subdivide the largest undeveloped swath of land (approx. 95 acres) in the central area of the hamlet. The Bosque proposal includes the construction of a private road running through the property, 12 new houses, and a barn/residence/farm operation to be used exclusively and solely by the owners of the new homes. At this critical stage, we need legal counsel and environmental expertise in order to ensure that the majority of the community is represented during the review process. We can't do this without financial resources – we can’t do this without you!
